Rookwood Vase #6474. It is 4 inches tall and just under 4 inches wide. The vase features an embossed design on each side centered with a blooming rose and pair of rose hips on a rose trellis. The finish is a high gloss glaze which I believe is Celedon in color. This vase was manufactured by the Rookwood Pottery Company of Cincinnati, Ohio. Since this is a production vase it was produced in other years in this and other colors. I have seen this shape dated from 1935 to 1953. and I have seen it in at least 8 other colors. It is marked on the bottom, XXXIV 6474. The vase is in excellent condition but does nave some crazing. This IS NOT one from the convention.
